ATV inside of M28

Last week we displayed the possibility of loading onto our aircraft a full size ATV (all-terrain vehicle). Through the rear clamshell doors using integrated cargo hoist we were able to load two ATVs Yamaha Grizzly 350.

The M28 has the largest payload in its group. The two turboprop Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6-65B engines 1,100 horsepower (820 kW) each give the aircraft unique capabilities in terms of short take-off and landing. With a maximum load weight of 2,300 kg the M28 can take off and land on unpaved short under 600m runways. The M28 is unstoppable force in any conditions, operating from any type of runway including world’s most inaccessible airstrips, unpaved, grass and gravel runways or high-elevation airfields. The fully configurable cabin area can be adapted to meet a number of mission profiles, flying in extremely hot and cold conditions (from - 50°C to 50°C).

Yamaha Grizzly 350 is full-sized 4x4. With single cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC, 2-valves this is one of the most popular ATV of its group. Perfectly suited to M28 aircraft and it’s integrated cargo hoist system which can lift up to 700 kg.
