Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze has marked its presence during the current edition of the international ILA Berlin fair. The M28 airplane presented itself in the skies and a model of this airplane was the star of the Sub-Carpathian Voivodeship booth.
The booth, shared by Dolina Lotnicza, Office of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Region, Rzeszów City Hall and Krosno City Hall also included representatives of PZL Mielec.
Business talks and conferences were accompanied by aviation shows. One of the attractions included the M28 05 airplane flying under the Bundeswehr flag. The plane flew two times a day to present a parachute jump.
Soldiers of the special airborne regiment from Seedorf jumped from the level of approximately 2,000 metres. They landed near the fair area, such that visitors and exhibitors could watch their skills.
Lockheed Martin was also present during the fair. The heavy transport helicopter Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion had its European debut during ILA Berlin.
ILA Berlin is one of the oldest and biggest aviation fair worldwide. This year, it took place on 25th – 29th April.
