M28 has been operated in the wake of different emergencies and natural disasters countless times. The aircraft substantially enhanced humanitarian assistance capacity during disaster response operations all over the world.
Recently delivered two M28 aircraft to the Nepali Army will give access to remote parts of the country and deliver critical relief supplies to disaster victims and facilitate casualty evacuation operations. Although Nepal is a high latitude area with hardly accessible mountain valleys, the M28 is best suited to the most demanding and dangerous geography. The M28 aircraft has got over 5,000 pounds payload capacity and can reach an altitude of 25,000 feet.
Another example is M28 emergency support in Latin America generated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Venezuelan National Guard has used the M28 aircraft to transport and deliver medical supplies and discard kits for the Covid-19 and other equipment to the different regions in the country.
